Where Champagne Meets Butterflies

We believe the best conversations don’t happen at tables—they happen on blankets. Picnickity began the way all good things do: with friends, sunshine, and the radical idea that any moment can become magic if you’re willing to carry a basket.

Meet the Wanderers

Albert Windham – Yogi – The Scout

At 24, Yogi is our landscape designer and adventure-seeker, currently based in the sun-soaked corners of Australia. He’s the one hauling coolers up mountains at dawn, finding hidden meadows where wildflowers grow waist-high, and insisting that if there’s grass, there’s a picnic. A self-taught sandwich architect (no soggy bread on his watch), Yogi proves that the journey to the perfect spot is half the magic. Want more? See Albert “Yogi” Windham’s page!

Samantha Jones – Teddy – The Stylist

Teddy, 22, is our textile design student bringing French countryside dreams to life from the United States. She’s the reason every picnic looks like it wandered off a magazine page—vintage wicker baskets, hand-sewn linen napkins, wildflowers arranged just so. For Teddy, a picnic isn’t just a meal. It’s a moment. A memory in the making. An afternoon that deserves to be beautiful. Want more? See Samantha “Teddy” Jones’ page!

Teddy - Magical settings and classic picnics. who else could design these perfect moments?

Boo-Boo – The Planner

Based in South Africa, Boo-Boo is our 23-year-old nursing student and the heart of our operation. She’s the one checking weather forecasts, packing backup ponchos, and remembering the bottle opener everyone else forgot. But don’t mistake preparation for predictability—she’s also the first to suggest midnight picnics under southern stars or frosty winter breakfasts in the park. She proves that being prepared and being adventurous aren’t mutually exclusive. Want more? See Yasmine “Boo-Boo” Ndlovu’s page!

Boo-Boo, the adventurer, ready to hike at a moment's notice

Three Continents, One Basket

We’re scattered across the globe—Australia, the United States, and South Africa—but distance has only made us better storytellers. We live active, outgoing lives in our own corners of the world, hiking coastal trails, exploring hidden gardens, chasing golden hour in three different time zones. And at least once a year, we converge—hauling our favorite blankets and biggest dreams to wherever our next adventure calls.

Those reunions remind us why we do this. Why we believe in the power of spreading a blanket. Why we think the world needs more champagne at sunset, more laughter echoing through meadows, more moments where time slows down enough to notice the butterflies.

What We’re Really About

Picnickity is our love letter to the art of slowing down. To making ordinary afternoons extraordinary. To proving that you don’t need much—just intention, a bit of beauty, and the courage to sit on the ground and call it an occasion.

We’re here for the romantics who want their life to feel like a French film. The adventurers who’ll picnic anywhere—beaches, mountains, parking lots, snowy hilltops. The planners who love a good packing list. The spontaneous souls who decide at 10 PM that midnight sandwiches under the stars sound like a perfect idea.

Our Promise

Through this space, we share what we’ve learned from hundreds of outdoor feasts across three continents: how to pack better, style with intention, find the hidden spots worth the trek, and create moments that linger long after the last crumb is gone.

We’re not here to sell you perfection. We’re here to invite you into the feeling—that warm, golden-hour reverie where the world fades away and all that remains is the wonder of the present moment.

Because life is short. The sun is out. And somewhere, there’s a blanket with your name on it.

Welcome to our world. Pull up a corner of the blanket and stay awhile.
